Julie and Clark’s Itinerary

After enjoying the champagne region of France, we took a train into Belgium. Our first stop was Brussels, and then we headed onward to Bruges. The train system was easy to navigate and everyone we met spoke English (thank God because we don’t know a word in Flemish). Bruges is an absolutely gorgeous medieval city and we enjoyed our time getting “lost” walking around near the canals and exploring all the nooks and crannies of the city. Going in spring, we didn’t find it to be overcrowded and the flowers just starting to bloom added to the beauty. Belgium we will forever love your chocolate, waffles, and beer.
